ROTARY CLUB OF IKEJA SOUTH DONATES 52 WINDOW BLINDS TO LASUTH TRANSIT LODGE

In A Commendable Act Of Service And Community Partnership, The Rotary Club Of Ikeja South, In Collaboration With The District Intervention Committee, Has Donated 52 Window Blinds To The LASUTH Transit Lodge On Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

Leading The Rotary Delegation Was Rotarian Bolatito Olaboye, President Of Rotary Club Ikeja South, Who Emphasized The Club’s Dedication To Sustainable Community Development Through Strategic Interventions In Healthcare, Education, And Humanitarian Support. She Noted That The Donation Is In Alignment With The Rotary Motto “Service Above Self.”

This Gesture Is Emblematic Of Our Commitment To Effecting Meaningful Change Through Impactful Projects, Collaborative Partnerships, And A Steadfast Drive To Transform Lives,” She Said. “For 35 Years, Rotary Club Of Ikeja South Has Remained Actively Involved In Supporting Health And Community Systems.”

Receiving The Donation On Behalf Of The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Adetokunbo O. Fabamwo, Was The Director Of Hospital Administration And Human Resources, Mrs. Olayinka Oye-Bamgbose. She Expressed The CMD’s Sincere Appreciation For The Timely Contribution. “This Donation Will Greatly Enhance The Ambience And Comfort Of The LASUTH Transit Lodge For Both Patients And Their Relatives,” She Said. “We Are Grateful To The Rotary Club Of Ikeja South For Its Ongoing Support In Strengthening The Quality Of Care At LASUTH.”

Also Speaking At The Event, Rotarian Caroline Chukwurah, Facility Manager Of The Transit Lodge, Explained That The Facility Has Been Recently Renamed To Properly Reflect Its Purpose Of Serving As Temporary Accommodation For Patients With Scheduled Appointments And Relatives Of In-patients Who Reside Outside Lagos Or Far From The Hospital.
