The Lagos State Government Has Extended The Ounjé Eko Discounted Food Market Programme To Health Workers At The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH). This Initiative By Mr. Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu, Is In Continuation Of The State Government's Efforts To Ameliorate The Effects Of The Rising Food Prices And Also To Ensure Accessibility To Essential Food Items At Discounted Prices. Mr. Dapo Olakulehin, The General Manager Of The Lagos State Coconut Development Authority From The Ministry Of Agriculture And Coordinating Director Of The Ounjé Eko Market, Was Present In LASUTH To Flag Off Day One Of The Initiative, Which Will Run Every Friday For Eight Weeks. Mr. Olakulehin Said, "we Are Pleased To Bring The Ounjé Eko Market To LASUTH As A Way Of Supporting Our Frontline Health Workers Who Continue To Serve Tirelessly. This Implementation Of Ounje Eko Discounted Food Market Phase II, Will Help Ease The Economic Pressure By Providing Affordable, High-quality Food Items Directly To Them." Welcoming The Team, The Chief Medical Director Of LASUTH, Professor Adetokunbo O. Fabamwo, Expressed Appreciation To The Amiable And Caring Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu For Extending This Benefit To The Hospital's Health Workers. He Stated, “the Management Of LASUTH Has Ensured That Everything Required For The Successful Operation Of The Market Has Been Provided.
