Tuesday, 9th Of January, 2024 , The Management Of The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Received Officials Of The National Postgraduate Medical College Of Nigeria(NPMCN) Who Paid A Courtesy Visit To The Hospital. The New President Of The College, Professor Peter Ebeigbe Led The Team. Professor Ebeigbe Who Tagged The Visit As An Appreciative One, Said Past And Current Leadership Of LASUTH Had Accommodated The College On Several Occasions Too Numerous To Count. Some Of The Areas He Highlighted Include, Usage Of The Hospital Facilities For Postgraduates Examinations And Update Courses Among Others. The New President Assured The CMD And His Team Of The College’s Cooperation On Polices For Seamless And Effective Operations. The Chief Medical Director Of LASUTH, Prof. Adetokunbo O. Fabamwo, Congratulated The New President Of The Postgraduate College On His Appointment And Expressed Confidence In His Leadership Qualities. Prof. Fabamwo Described The College As An Institution Of Repute That Keeps Churning Out Excellent Specialists. He Said Fellows Graduating From The College Have Stood The Test Of Time And Proven Their Mettle Both Locally And Internationally. The CMD Spoke Further About The Hospital And How It Is Living Up To It's Mandate Of Providing Accessible And Affordable Tertiary Services. He Went Ahead To Mention Some Of The Recent Achievements And Partnerships Of The Hospital And How It Has Raised The Bar A Notch Higher, Making LASUTH The Preferred Destination For Tertiary Health Care In Lagos And Beyond; Some Of Which Include The Completion Of The New Storey Building That Will Accommodate The Sickle Cell Peadiatric Center, The Construction Of An Oncology Building And The Establishment Of A Catheterization Laboratory. He Further Promised Continuous Support For The College In Its Future Endeavours. Prof. Fidelis Njokanma, A Professor Of Paediatrics And Child Health At The Lagos State University College Of Medicine (LASUCOM), Who Spoke On Behalf Of The Heads Of Department Present, Praised The Thoroughness Of The Leadership Of The College And Advised That All Hands Should Continually Be On Deck To Encourage A Synchrony In The Activities Of The College And The Hospital.
